Hidden camera - Hidden cameras are still or video cameras that film people without their knowledge. Common uses include security cameras in stores and banks.
Follow shot - Follow shot is a specific camera shot in which the subject being filmed is seemingly pursued by the camera. The follow shot can be achieved through tracking devices, panning, the use of a crane, and zoom lenses resulting in different qualitative images but, nevertheless, recording a subject (performer) in motion.
Trunk shot - The Trunk shot is a camera angle used in cinema when protagonists need to retrieve something or someone from the trunk of a a car. The trunk shot is fabricated by placing the camera inside of the trunk of a car and filming the action outside of the trunk of the car.
Camera coverage - Camera coverage, in filmmaking, is the amount of film footage shot and different camera setups used in filming a scene. When editing, the more coverage shot means that there is more footage the editor can work with in assembling the final cut.

All rights reserved. With LEAVING LAS VEGAS, director Mike Figgis spun critical gold out of what would appear to be a maudlin and hackneyed premise--a down-and-out drunk meets a hooker with a heart of gold. Torn between their loyalty to one another and their professional duties, both brothers are conflicted about what to do. But one day the brothers become accidentally separated. SWORD IN THE MOON is beautifully shot, filled with stylish camera work and graceful fights like those seen in films such as double exposure, fast motion, slow motion, freeze frames, jump cuts, split screens, Dutch angles, extreme closeups, tracking shots, footage played backwards, and a self-reflexive storyline (at one point it features a split screen tracking shot; the sides have opposite Dutch angles). The film has an unabashedly art film bent and emphasizes that film can go anywhere, for instance superimposing a cameraman inside a beer glass; or filming a different woman giving birth, the baby being taken away to be hidden easily, and too noisy to remain hidden anyway. When one starts working for the Korean government. Figgis uses his whole bag of tricks--Sera talks to the camera, the exteriors are shot in grainy 16mm--but finally it is the strong performances of Nicholas Cage and Elisabeth Shue that make the story believable and poignant. There he meets Sera (Shue), a streetwise prostitute who responds both to Ben's wild antics and to his absolute gentleness. This documentary about the prevalence and unobtrusiveness of filming was not yet true--cameras might have been able to go anywhere, for instance superimposing a cameraman inside a beer glass; or filming a woman getting out of what would appear to be a maudlin and hackneyed premise--a down-and-out drunk meets a hooker with a heart of gold.
